Khaptad National Park- Top Travel Destination In Nepal

Khaptad National Park is a protected area in the Far-Western Region of Nepal which was established in 1984 on the advice of the region’s holy man Khaptad Baba. The Park stretches over four districts of Bajhang,Bajura, Accham and Doti and covers an area of 225 square km. It’s landscape is simply majestic consisting of steep slopes, streams and moorland. And to put icing on the cake, this place offers a wide variety of animals and vegetation species for all the nature lovers. Certainly a place for all the nature lovers to become one with the nature itself. The park can be visited by flying from Kathmandu-Nepalgunj (60 min.), followed by another flight to Chainpur (Bajhang 20 min.) and then a three-day walk.Alternate routes include a flight to Kathamndu-Dhangadi (1 hr 10 min.), followed by 10 hours drive to Silgadi and then a day’s trek.
